Chapter 1155: The Genesis Organization’s Repeated Failures The prolonged, intense fighting had inflicted heavy losses on the Genesis Organization. The battle at the Floating Island Fortress alone had cost the organization a superbase, 100,000 elite troops, and a large number of scientists. Genesis had suffered failures in various operations prior to this, and even its biochemical weapons research base in Jamaica had been seized by S. H. I. E. L. D. Faced with this situation, both the organization’s leaders—including Vilen Ginnol and other top brass—and the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Morgan Zade, were deeply troubled. Many high-ranking officials were furious, and Morgan Zade faced intense criticism. On this occasion, Morgan Zade met with leader Vilen Ginor and several other top brass aboard a converted luxury cruise ship to discuss internal adjustments and reorganization of the Genesis Organization moving forward. Following a series of failures, the Genesis Organization needed to reorganize in order to continue its plans. In reality, the upper echelons of the Genesis Organization—a den of snakes and rats—were rife with astonishing internal conflicts, and there were signs of an imminent major outbreak. “I admit that our recent operations have failed repeatedly, resulting in staggering losses for the organization. However, we must find a way to make up for these losses and let the world know our true capabilities. Therefore, we cannot afford to lose heart now. We have no choice but to launch another major operation.” Morgan Zade, the African-American commander, now realized that only by persistently intensifying their operations could they effectively stem Genesis’s downward spiral. The Genesis organization is now rife with doubt, suspicion, and anger. Failing at everything was giving Morgan Zade a massive headache. From now on, they would simply have to persevere; only then could they achieve a breakthrough and break out of this dire situation. Upon hearing Zade’s words, a wrinkled-faced veteran named Carmons confronted him: “How many times have we failed already? Are your armed forces just sitting around doing nothing? Even if the enemy is strong, we shouldn’t be failing every single time!” These words left Morgan Zade feeling utterly humiliated, but he could only suppress his anger; so many failures had left him feeling deeply ashamed. “Then let’s launch another major operation. I already have a plan in place. This time, we can fully leverage the grassroots support of Genesis’s core constituencies—the Black community and Muslim groups.” He proceeded to outline his strategy. “Go on, then.” “What exactly is the situation?” “We’re going to attack Marseille, a major city in southern France. There’s a large Black and Muslim population there. By leveraging those communities, we can establish a much stronger stronghold. This will further intimidate France and even more nations. That way, Genesis can regain its former glory.” As he spoke, Morgan Zade activated the electronic screen in the conference room and presented the detailed operational plan. Under Morgan Zade’s vigorous persuasion, the powerful leaders of the Genesis Organization were gradually convinced once again. Villon Ginol, the true leader of the Genesis Organization, also spoke up. This man, dressed in an elegant suit and with a face full of wrinkles, said, “We at the Genesis Organization have suffered repeated setbacks. But now we must rise above these failures. In any case, greater investment is essential. Only by pressing forward can the Genesis Organization find a way out.” The other leaders also unanimously endorsed Morgan Zade’s action plan. The high-ranking leaders of the Genesis Organization allocated an additional $20 billion for operations in the Marseille region. In addition, Morgan Zadeh consulted with Sakar, who oversees the scientific division. Sakar, an arrogant scientific genius, will lead his team of scientists in developing even more powerful, advanced high-tech weapons and equipment for the armed forces. For this operation, Morgan Zade decided to deploy a contingent of main combat forces, as well as a large number of experimental combat units. Once preparations were complete, Morgan Zade led the Genesis Organization’s armed forces—composed primarily of African American soldiers—in a fierce assault on the Mediterranean coast, specifically the Marseille region of France. In the Marseille region of France, everything appeared to be business as usual. However, the city was about to come under attack by the Genesis Organization. Large numbers of Genesis Organization agents were operating in the many African American and Muslim neighborhoods of the Marseille area. Like the armed forces, the Genesis Organization’s intelligence division was under the command of the military staff led by Morgan Zade. Marseille is home to a large population of Black Muslims; in fact, Black and Muslim residents now make up more than half of the local population, while the original French population has been increasingly squeezed out. Under the influence of multiculturalism and various evil forces, Marseille is rapidly becoming black and Islamic. This has greatly facilitated the Genesis Organization’s operations in the Marseille region. The agents made solemn promises to the Black and Muslim populations. They were told that if they participated in the riots in Marseille, all the wealth of the native French in the region would be theirs. Since these Black and Muslim individuals were already of a savage and shameless nature, such encouragement would cause the deep-seated darkness within Marseille to erupt rapidly. The Genesis Organization’s combat units launched their assault on the Marseille region. In the southern Mediterranean, one after another, Deep Sea Whale-class multi-purpose cruisers surfaced from the ocean and opened their internal hangars, launching large numbers of Ghost transport ships into the air. At the same time, Thunderstorm-class fighters began concentrated strikes on the Marseille region to suppress resistance from local French forces. Black and Muslim residents in the city of Marseille also began rioting, with large numbers of them looting the shops and even homes of native French citizens. Some of these radical groups possessed large quantities of firearms and even rocket launchers—weapons that Genesis agents had managed to procure. The local Marseille police were already unable to hold their ground, and even the Black Muslim officers within the police station began to rebel. Amid this chaos, the Genesis Organization’s main force, having launched a surprise assault from the southern Mediterranean, launched an attack on Marseille. First, French military bases near the Marseille area were heavily bombed, rendering them incapable of mounting effective resistance. Ghost troop transport ships unloaded large numbers of infantry, tanks, motorcycles, and various types of military equipment. Morgan Zade dispatched the formidable frontline commander Reuben to lead this battle; Reuben was his right-hand man and highly capable. The significance of this battle was precisely why he had chosen Reuben to command it, as it would also help both himself and his confidant gain the favor of other major figures within the organization. Although the Genesis Organization had suffered heavy blows on multiple occasions, the force deployed this time consisted of 30,000 elite troops, with Reuben’s division serving as the main force. In addition, there were several thousand members of a special tactical experimental unit. Meanwhile, the hundreds of thousands of Black and Muslim residents in the Marseille region served as a steadfast source of conscripted troops for the Genesis Organization.
