Chapter 992: The Liberation of N'Djamena (Part 2) After destroying these howitzers, Fang Leng took to the skies once more to strike key targets of the Mark of Creation forces within N'Djamena’s urban area. Fang Leng’s powerful penetration and precision strikes allowed the other superheroes and S. H. I. E. L. D.’ s Rapid Response Force to continue their operations smoothly. The Winter Soldier, Bucky, drove a captured plasma assault tank, fighting his way through the enemy lines. The combat effectiveness of this plasma assault tank was indeed formidable; a single strike was enough to destroy the Mark of Ultron forces’ Guardian tanks. Other lightly armored vehicles, such as hovercraft and four-wheel-drive armored vehicles, were no match for it. As long as we’re willing to fight for justice and live up to the code of a superhero, there’s no such thing as big or small contributions.” Everyone was well aware of Fang Leng’s role in the Battle of N’Djamena—he was undoubtedly the backbone of the team. Yet Fang Leng had always held deep respect for superheroes like Rogers and Hawkeye. In his view, regardless of strength, anyone who stood up for justice embodied the very essence of a superhero. Cluster munitions contain a large number of submunitions; upon detonation, they scatter a vast number of small projectiles, capable of inflicting massive casualties on personnel and light armor. However, they prove somewhat inadequate against heavily armored targets and fortifications. These long-range howitzers are equipped with highly advanced fire control and battlefield targeting systems, enabling high-precision strikes against targets. With these long-range howitzers, the Mark of Ultron forces have gained strong heavy firepower support. Fang Leng’s target was precisely these long-range howitzers; destroying these heavy guns would inevitably greatly weaken the combat effectiveness of the remaining Mark of Ultron forces. After a brief burst of acceleration, Fang Leng landed on the artillery position. Accompanied by a piercing screech of metal shattering and grinding, the vehicle was destroyed. After destroying the vehicle, Fang Leng launched a flurry of punches, kicks, and rapid-fire attacks, knocking more than ten Soldiers of the Mark of Ultron off their feet. Flying to a nearby ammunition depot, Fang Leng knocked down two enemy soldiers, took the high-explosive grenades from their bodies, pulled the pins, and tossed them into the pile of shells. Fang Leng leapt high into the air, and below him, the explosion of the grenades triggered a chain reaction, detonating the entire stockpile of ammunition. Most of the ammunition was incendiary, and upon detonation, it produced a massive explosion and intense fire. The fierce flames engulfed nearly all the enemy soldiers. Some of the remaining four-wheel-drive armored vehicles were destroyed, while the rest, engulfed in flames, drove out of the fire zone.
