Chapter 365: A Dire Situation With Commander Holt now eliminated by Fang Leng, the remaining Pioneer Tech forces completely collapsed. All that remained were a few scattered infantry units; destroying the two remaining humanoid mechs would essentially end the battle. Fang Leng charged toward a Pioneer Tech assault trooper clad in red armor, took him down, and snatched the missile launcher from his hands. “You’ll serve as my ammunition depot!” Using the captured missile launcher, Fang Leng fired several missiles at a heavily damaged section of the humanoid mech’s armor. The missiles struck the humanoid mech’s heavily damaged armor. These Pioneer Tech anti-tank missiles possessed extraordinary destructive power and penetration; even against their own mechs, they were highly lethal. However, the humanoid mech’s armor defense was still remarkably high; even these missiles were unable to completely destroy its armor. Fang Leng tossed aside the missile launcher, leaped into the air with all his might, and delivered a ferocious blow to the damaged section of the already severely battered humanoid mech’s armor. The force of the blow was immense. Combined with the already severely damaged armor, Fang Leng smashed right through the hull and burst into the cockpit, where the pilot was instantly killed by the shards of metal armor shattered by his impact. Having taken out yet another humanoid mech, Fang Leng turned his attention to the last remaining unit. Relying on his powerful fists and formidable physique, he unleashed a relentless barrage of powerful attacks against the final mech. With a series of ferocious, powerful punches, Fang Leng specifically targeted the humanoid mech’s joints and the armor on its chest and back. The final mech could no longer hold out, and eventually, severely damaged, it collapsed completely to the ground. “All right, I’ve finally taken out all these mechs.” Having eliminated the humanoid mechs, Fang Leng let out a long sigh of relief. After a fierce and bloody battle, he had finally wiped out the enemy’s main force. All that remained was to wipe out the remaining infantry. The last remaining Cryo-armored soldier was utterly stunned. He never imagined that his side, which had held such a decisive advantage just a few dozen minutes ago, had now been nearly turned on its head by Fang Leng. Even the two half-human Mammoth-armored soldiers had been killed, leaving him as the sole remaining Cryo-armored soldier. The scales of victory had now completely tipped in Fang Leng’s favor. What made the situation even more embarrassing and demoralizing for the Cryo-armored soldier was that Fang Leng had actually managed to rout them even more swiftly by seizing their own Cryo-cannons. This frozen soldier had no choice but to swallow his pride and call for reinforcements from the remaining garrison at the Mind Termination Tower. “Commander Holt, this enemy is extremely difficult to deal with. I request an all-out attack to eliminate him as soon as possible.” As one of Pioneer Tech’s top elite warriors, having to do this infuriated him, even though he had been assigned to this operation. But as a member of Pioneer Tech’s elite—and one of Murdoch’s most trusted warriors—having to beg the field commander for help truly rankled him. However, there was no other option now. Commander Holt, responsible for guarding the Philadelphia Mind Terminator Tower, was well aware that the situation was dire. He had no choice but to commit the majority of his remaining forces to the attack, joining forces with the last Cryo-Armored Soldier and the three remaining humanoid mechs to eliminate Fang Leng. At the same time, Holt sent an urgent transmission to Pioneer Tech headquarters, reporting that he was facing a formidable enemy in Fang Leng. Fang Leng, for his part, would not give the enemy any chance to catch their breath; taking advantage of his decisive victory, he continued the pursuit. First, he turned his attention to the last remaining Cryo-Armored Soldier. Fang Leng drew the personal railgun strapped to his back and aimed it at the soldier for the final assault. He aimed at the target and pulled the trigger. One railgun projectile after another struck the cryogenic soldier’s armor. The projectiles possessed astonishing penetration capabilities; although the soldier’s high-tech alloy armor offered strong defense, it could not withstand the immense destructive force of the railgun rounds. It took nearly ten consecutive railgun rounds before Fang Leng finally defeated this last Cryo-Armored Soldier. “Finally done. Now it’s their turn.” Fang Leng swept his battle-hardened gaze toward the remaining three humanoid mechs. At the same time, most of the remaining enemies beneath the Mind Terminator Tower began their final assault on Fang Leng. A massive wave of enemies charged forward; the remaining Vanguard Technology tanks, armored vehicles, and hundreds of infantry still appeared to possess considerable strength. Unfortunately, the backbone of these forces had been virtually wiped out. Having witnessed Fang Leng’s astonishing combat prowess, the remaining troops were now filled with dread. Facing such an opponent in their final stand, even these elite soldiers of Pioneer Technology felt a sense of despair. However, they were, after all, elite troops trained and equipped with cutting-edge technology by Pioneer Tech. Commander Holt himself had earned Murdoch’s recognition and promotion, and was considered one of Murdoch’s most trusted officers within Pioneer Tech. Under these circumstances, Commander Holt ordered his troops to fight to the death in order to eliminate Fang Leng and protect the Mind Terminator Tower. Fueled by a surge of fervor, these troops launched a coordinated final charge and assault. Missiles, rocket-propelled grenades, and plasma weapons rained down furiously on Fang Leng’s position. Thanks to his fierce charge, the enemy on the ground had already suffered over a hundred casualties. Through powerful assaults and relentless combat, the remaining enemy forces were being wiped out. Fang Leng’s overwhelming combat prowess only deepened the despair of these Pioneer Tech troops. Facing such a formidable foe as Fang Leng, even they could only buy time. Fang Leng launched an even more ferocious assault against the remaining enemies. He charged at an armored vehicle, lifted it off the ground, and hurled it toward the enemy ranks. The force with which Fang Leng hurled the armored vehicle was comparable to that of heavy construction machinery; the vehicle tumbled through the air, crushing dozens of enemies in its path before coming to a heavy stop. Fang Leng then turned his attention to the remaining enemies, focusing his attacks on their heavy equipment. After his relentless assault, the enemy’s tanks, armored vehicles, and other heavy equipment were virtually wiped out. Commander Hott used the radio to call for further reinforcements from Pioneer Technology headquarters, but Pioneer Technology was unable to send support troops in the short term. Just then, he felt the armored vehicle being violently struck from above. The vehicle was then completely crushed by a massive force. Commander Holt was no exception. (To be continued. )
