These vanguard troops looted large quantities of gold, gems, and other valuables. The residents of Wakanda had a custom of decorating their jewelry and homes with gold and precious stones. This provided Ultron’s human minions with frequent spoils. After confirming that the outskirts of the town posed no threat, the vanguard pushed further in. Inside the town of Baylet, a large group of Wakandan soldiers and militiamen were taking up arms in villas and buildings, waiting for the invaders to enter their ambush zone. As the 1,500-strong vanguard entered the ambush zone, the waiting Wakandans aimed rocket launchers at the minions’ tanks and armored vehicles. Light and heavy machine guns, assault rifles, and sniper rifles were trained on the minions’ infantry. “Whoosh! Rat-a-tat-tat! Boom!
