This Copyright and Original Works Notice describes KO99’s copyright position regarding novels and related content published through the Services.

1. KO99 Original Works

KO99 publishes original English-language novels and related literary materials created by KO99 employees within the scope of their assigned duties, commissioned creators, and other authors under written publishing, assignment, or license arrangements. KO99 may also publish properly licensed third-party material identified or managed under the applicable agreement.

Originality statement: KO99 does not authorize copying, reposting, mirroring, unauthorized translation, adaptation, commercial distribution, paywall circumvention, scraping, dataset creation, or artificial-intelligence training using protected KO99 works unless KO99 or the applicable rights holder grants prior written permission.

2. Ownership and Authorship

Copyright ownership is determined by applicable law and written agreements. Works created by actual employees within the scope of employment may be treated as works made for hire. Works created by contractors, freelancers, or outside authors require appropriate written assignment, publishing, or license terms; merely paying for a manuscript may not transfer all copyright.

Where KO99 owns the copyright, UFO GAME INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CO. LTD is the rights holder. Where an author or another party retains ownership, KO99 publishes under the relevant license or agreement. Author credits do not, by themselves, change contractual ownership.

4. Permitted Use

Users may access KO99 content for personal, lawful, non-commercial reading or listening through authorized Services. Limited quotation may be permitted when independently authorized by applicable law, with appropriate attribution and without substituting for the original work. Permission beyond these limited rights must be obtained in writing.

5. Prohibited Use

• Copying or reposting complete works or substantial portions.
• Unauthorized translation, adaptation, audiobook, video, comic, game, or derivative production.
• Selling, licensing, sublicensing, or distributing files or access credentials.
• Scraping chapters, bypassing access controls, decrypting protected files, or constructing mirrors.
• Using text, metadata, characters, or story elements to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or populate an AI or machine-learning dataset without written permission.
• Removing copyright, attribution, watermark, or rights-management information.

6. Reporting Unauthorized Copies

If a KO99 work is copied elsewhere, email support@ko99.com with subject “KO99 Copyright Enforcement Report” and include the KO99 title and URL, infringing URL, screenshots, date observed, and any relevant account or contact information. KO99 may investigate, preserve evidence, contact the host, submit platform takedown notices, or pursue other remedies.

7. Complaints About Content on KO99

If you believe material on KO99 infringes your copyright, use the procedure in the DMCA Policy and send the notice to admin@ko99.com. Trademark, privacy, defamation, and other complaints should be sent to support@ko99.com with a clear subject and supporting information.

8. Registration and Evidence

KO99 may register important works with the U.S. Copyright Office and other appropriate registries. KO99 may preserve drafts, source files, employment and contractor agreements, assignments, licenses, timestamps, publication records, version history, editorial records, and enforcement correspondence as evidence of authorship, ownership, publication, and chain of title.
