The Heir to the Seven Killers in the City

Chapter 11: The Beautiful Woman on the Night Patrol

Judging by her tone, the girl wasn’t just not a member of the Fire Scorpion Gang—she actually had a grudge against them. In a way, that made them allies. Qin Yu suppressed the Seven Kill Sutra he’d been quietly channeling moments earlier, then spun around. As he grabbed the girl’s wrist, he took the opportunity to run his hand along her slender waist before pinning her down with both hands. “You…” The girl froze for a moment, then strained against his grip, trying to break free. Empowered by the Seven Kill Sutra, Qin Yu’s strength was now formidable. The girl felt as if her hands were being clamped in a pair of pliers. “You… you filthy pervert! What do you think you’re doing?!” “Me? I don’t mean anything by it. You started it, so I’m just returning the favor.” Qin Yu shrugged, feigning helplessness. “Let me go,” the girl said in a commanding tone after struggling briefly. Qin Yu thought for a moment. As the saying goes, the more skilled you are, the bolder you become—and besides, this girl seemed to be here looking for the Fire Scorpion Gang as well. He immediately smiled. “Well, once I let you go, don’t get any more mischievous, or else big brother here will spank your little bottom.” As he spoke, Qin Yu playfully brushed his hand lightly across her buttocks, and with a chuckle, he released her wrists. But just as he let go, the girl let out a shriek—and her hands didn’t stop moving. A dagger glinting coldly in her hand slithered into her grasp like a silver snake. She took a rapid step back, thrusting the dagger toward Qin Yu with extraordinary force. Damn it, she’s playing dirty. Seeing the dagger coming at him, a gleam flashed in the corner of Qin Yu’s eye. He twisted his body to the side and simultaneously threw a diagonal punch. Realizing this change, the girl immediately redirected the dagger, sending it straight toward Qin Yu’s fist. Startled, Qin Yu smiled faintly, leaped forward, and kicked out at the same time. The girl stepped back again with the momentum, drew the dagger back, and raised both hands to block. Since obtaining the Seven Kills Sutra, Qin Yu’s body had undergone a dramatic transformation; movements that would be difficult for the average person were now much easier for him. Take this moment, for example: just as the girl was preparing to block, Qin Yu—who had already leaped into the air—suddenly leaped again, landing behind her before her eyes could register her surprise. “If you won’t take the wine, you’ll have to drink the punishment,” Qin Yu thought to himself, and without mercy, he delivered a kick straight to her face. The girl never imagined that the man before her would be so terrifying in terms of both speed and strength—that series of seemingly impossible movements had been executed in an instant, as smooth as flowing water. Before she could recover from her shock, a powerful force struck her from behind. The girl was kicked away like a punching bag and fell face-first into the dirt. Qin Yu didn’t stop, however. As the girl’s body leaned forward, he stepped in; by the time she hit the ground, his arm had already wrapped around her chest. Feeling the softness against his arm, Qin Yu chuckled inwardly and used her momentum to push her down onto the ground. His other hand didn’t stop, though. He swiftly snatched the dagger from her grasp and, as he flung it aside, his palm pressed down on her back once more. He then withdrew his hand. Although the girl was sprawled on the ground, she hadn’t suffered a single injury thanks to Qin Yu’s timely intervention. That speed was simply terrifying! Although she wasn’t injured, the girl was already covered in a cold sweat, wondering just who she had crossed. “Who are you, exactly?” Lying on the ground, a faint blush spread across the girl’s face, but she didn’t pause for a moment. She rolled onto her side and quickly stood up, staring at Qin Yu with a strange expression. Qin Yu smiled but said nothing. The girl lunged at him again, launching a flurry of attacks—each one deadly! Seeing this, Qin Yu thought to himself: “I came here to punish evil and uphold justice—and to improve my skills while I’m at it—so why did I end up in this situation?” Feeling a bit exasperated, Qin Yu kept dodging. Without knowing her identity, he wouldn’t kill an innocent person—especially not a girl as charming as her. After dodging several moves in a row, Qin Yu was growing impatient. As the girl leaned in to attack, he darted aside once more and slapped her buttocks hard. In the quiet of the night, the crisp “smack” rang out clearly. “Hmm… feels pretty good—pretty firm.” Qin Yu paused, savoring the moment as he spoke. Hearing this, the girl clenched her teeth in anger, stamped her foot, and, unwilling to give up, lunged at him once more. But just then, Qin Yu suddenly lunged forward, clamped his hand over her mouth, and—paying no heed to her struggles—dragged her into the reeds by the shore. “Don’t say a word—someone’s coming!” Qin Yu whispered into her ear. At his words, she calmed down considerably and angrily pushed his hand away. She glared fiercely at Qin Yu but still couldn’t resist trying to strike out again. Seeing her like this, Qin Yu felt truly exasperated. “If you don’t want to get caught, then shut the hell up!” Qin Yu’s eyes widened with anger as he lowered his voice but spoke to the girl with unwavering authority. “Hmph.” The girl gave a soft snort. Recognizing the bigger picture, she didn’t respond to Qin Yu anymore; instead, she parted the reeds in front of her and crouched down to look ahead. Just as Qin Yu had said, several beams of light appeared in the distance, wavering as they moved rapidly toward us. They must be members of the Fire Scorpion Gang. Qin Yu slowed his breathing. The group had already reached the clearing in front of their reed bed. The men were holding flashlights in one hand and iron rods in the other; in the moonlight, Qin Yu could clearly make out the identical tattoo patterns on their bare arms. “Did you really hear people talking over here just now?” “Yeah, how could it be anything but true!” When they arrived and didn’t spot Qin Yu and his group in the reed bed, they looked around in a panic and began to murmur among themselves. “Fuck, are they trying to scare the hell out of us? Who in their right mind would dare come onto our Fire Scorpion Gang’s turf in the middle of the night? They’re just asking to die.” One of them—a burly man who appeared to be the leader—spoke angrily. “No, I really heard people talking over here.” “Where’s the person? Where the fuck is the person?” “A person… a person…” The man being questioned scanned the area warily, as if he’d just realized something terrifying. He staggered slightly and stammered, “I’m afraid it might not be a person…” “What! If it’s not a person, then it’s a fucking ghost? I’ve killed people before—I’m not afraid of any ghost. Remember that woman who showed up that night? You guys said she was a ghost, right? In the end, I had my fill of her and took care of her.” As if bragging, the burly man swung the iron rod in his hand, ordering them to散开. But when the girl standing next to Qin Yu heard this, her body suddenly shuddered, and the reed she was clutching in her hand began to creak. Just as Qin Yu was about to speak, the girl had already surged forward.
