The Life of a Necromancer as a Swashbuckler

Chapter 29: The Ice-Fire Mystic Woman’s Art

“What are you doing?” Nameless said, instinctively clutching his clothes tighter; he sensed that his chastity was in danger. Yechacha, having regained her martial arts prowess, was not one for small talk. Seeing how tightly Nameless was guarding herself, she found it almost amusing—it almost looked as if Nameless were the one at a disadvantage. Deciding to go all the way, she offered no explanation and simply reached out to tear at Nameless’s clothes. Terrified, Nameless quickly shouted, “Stop! Stop! I’ll take them off myself—I’ll take them off myself!” Seeing how ruthless the Yechacha was, Nameless realized she wouldn’t listen to reason. It was clear her martial arts had fully recovered; not only could she tear his clothes off, but killing him would be as easy as turning her hand. Better to cut his losses now and do as she demanded—besides, he still had the secret manual he’d taken from the cave last time tucked inside his clothes, and he couldn’t let the Yechacha tear it to shreds. Seeing that Nameless had complied, Yechacha stopped, her face flushed. Nameless began to timidly take off his shirt. “Take it all off,” the Yechacha ordered again, a hint of shyness in her voice. This time, Nameless was thoroughly disheartened. It seemed the Yechacha really was, as the martial arts world claimed, a female demon—his chastity was certainly lost. Reluctantly, he stripped. “Turn around,” the Yechacha said, seemingly embarrassed; without looking at Nameless, she simply gave the order. Nameless obediently turned away. Why was Nameless doing this? Nameless was deeply puzzled. Standing naked on a tree perched on a sheer cliff face, the biting wind made him feel even colder, and he couldn’t help but shiver. Just as Nameless was struggling with his confusion and the cold, he suddenly felt a wave of warmth on his back. Something soft and plump pressed against him; his skin was unusually sensitive to the touch. It must have been someone naked embracing him. As they held him, a wave of warmth radiated from the body behind him, instantly banishing the cold and filling Nameless with a warm glow throughout his entire body. Judging by the sensation from behind, the person embracing him seemed to be Yechacha. Nameless couldn’t help but turn his head to look, only to see Yechacha with a flushed face and her head bowed, her body and limbs pressed tightly against Nameless’s, leaving not a single gap. Where their bodies touched, a steady stream of warmth kept flowing from Yechacha’s body. “You?” Nameless was utterly astonished and was about to ask what was going on, but before he could speak, he noticed that Yechacha’s face was flushed and her eyes seemed to be brimming with tears. She gave a soft, sharp rebuke: “Don’t ask, don’t look!” Seeing Yechacha’s expression, Nameless was too frightened to ask any further and hurriedly turned his head away. The two remained in close, skin-to-skin contact, clinging tightly to one another. As time passed, Nameless felt as though strength were constantly being infused into his body; his limbs seemed to grow lighter, his vision seemed to reach farther, and his mind grew clearer. A wave of warmth kept filling his chest, abdomen, and limbs, bringing an indescribable sense of comfort and exhilaration. It was as if a long-lost state was gradually returning—a state he knew well, one brimming with power. He didn’t know how much time had passed when Nameless suddenly heard the Yechacha behind him let out a soft gasp. The soft body against his back seemed to slump against him all at once, as if she were about to fall off. He quickly turned around and embraced her—sure enough, the naked Yechacha was channeling her energy into Nameless. At that moment, Yechacha no longer looked as alluring as before; instead, she resembled a girl next door suffering from a serious illness, lying limply in Nameless’s arms, a sight that tugged at his heartstrings. “Miss Yechacha, what’s going on?” Nameless still didn’t understand what was happening and hurriedly asked. Yechacha took a long moment to recover, then slowly opened her eyes. She glanced at Nameless and whispered sharply, “Get dressed!” Only then did Nameless remember that they were both still completely naked. He quickly set Yechacha down and deftly got dressed. When he turned back, he noticed that Yechacha was still lying against the tree—seemingly too weak even to dress herself—lazing lazily by the tree’s side. Her voluptuous breasts, firm thighs, and delicate curves, coupled with her soft, supple body and skin as white and tender as snow, delicate enough to break with a touch, exuding a unique charm. This was the first time in Nameless’s memory that he had seen such a beautiful body; he couldn’t help but feel his heart race. But seeing the Yechacha’s weakened state, he felt deeply sorry for her and hurried to help her get dressed. “Kid, have you had enough of looking? I just transferred all my lifetime’s martial arts power to you. Once you’ve adjusted, take us down the mountain!” Though Yechacha was very weak, she still carried herself with great presence. “What’s going on? Miss, you—” Nameless couldn’t help but feel deeply puzzled. What had he done to deserve such a sacrifice from Yechacha? Was she offering herself to him? Nameless was both moved and bewildered. “Stop blabbering. Let’s get down the mountain.” The Yechacha was still weak but decisive. “Miss, why don’t you explain this to me? Such a great gift—I feel unworthy to accept it.” Nameless still wanted to get to the bottom of things first. Seeing that Nameless wouldn’t head down the mountain until he understood, the Yechacha had no choice but to explain. “Great Hero Nameless, do you know that there are two divine martial arts in the world—not meant for one’s own cultivation, but for others to practice?” Martial arts meant to be cultivated for others? Nameless was even more baffled. “There are two divine martial arts in the world that require the assistance of others. One is called the Wedding Gown Divine Art, and the other is the Ice-Fire Mystic Maiden Art that I practice. With each level of the Ice-Fire Mystic Maiden Art, one’s allure multiplies, making women even more beautiful and captivating, and maintain eternal youth. However, once the Mystic Maiden Art reaches the seventh level, further progress becomes impossible. It can only be channeled into another’s body; after the internal energy is purified and refined within that person’s body, it must be continuously extracted. Only then is this divine art considered fully mastered. The Wedding Gown Divine Art works the same way, though it is meant to be cultivated by men,” Yechacha explained weakly. “So that’s why you transferred your inner energy to me?” Nameless finally understood—no wonder Yechacha had been so generous. “But why did you choose me?” Nameless was still a bit puzzled. “You’re just lucky!” Yechacha replied irritably. “Because the Xuan Nu Gong must be infused into a male body to remove impurities,” she explained, her face flushing. “But I don’t know any martial arts—can it really be transferred to me?” Nameless recalled the earlier incident where they’d almost transferred energy but then decided against it. “This isn’t transferring energy—it’s infusing it. The recipient should ideally have no internal energy at all, so that the energy can be infused. Plus, the method is rather special; it requires skin-to-skin contact, which is why we’re doing it this way,” Yechacha said, growing even more bashful. So the method just now had been transferring energy to herself—Nameless finally understood. “Then, Miss Ye, how am I supposed to return the energy?” “Returning the energy is the most troublesome part,” Yechacha muttered shyly under her breath. “You’re the one who should be calling me ‘Miss Ye.’ My surname is Ji—you’ll find out once you go down the mountain,” Yechacha replied irritably. “I’ll find out once we go down the mountain?” Nameless couldn’t help but freeze again. Could it be that he’d have to return the energy the same way as before? Nameless felt his mind wandering once more. “Let’s go down the mountain. You’ll find out once we’re down there,” Yechacha said, knowing exactly what Nameless was thinking. But as she recalled the method for extracting the energy, her face flushed even redder.
